‘Flower Moon’ is the first in my new Wildflower Series, created by layering hot and cold wax, raw pigments and hardeners onto a cradled wooden board to create a unique, museum-grade artwork. It shows a fairy wren resting in a wildflower hollow as a Springtime full moon (sometimes referred to a ‘the flower moon’) rises over the landscape beyond.

The finished piece has a soft, velvety texture. It’s restful and meditative and has a fairytale quality.

Dimensions: 40cm x 50cm.

The unique edge (shown in the second picture) is part of the artwork - it does not need to be framed.

The back is prepped with picture hardware, ready to hang.
