'I Dream of the Fairy Paddock' is a large encaustic triptych and the centerpiece for an upcoming exhibition in Sydney, Australia in October 2024. It was inspired by the tiny Fairy Wrens that flit through the landscape in Eastern Australia at dusk, catching insects on the wing. It's an enchanting sight - calming, meditative and uplifting.

This piece has been created using the ancient Greek technique of burning layers of beeswax, resin and raw pigments into a wooden substrate with a live flame to create a museum-grade artwork. The finished piece reflects light and a sense of calm into interior spaces, with the effect of bringing the outdoors indoors.
