Keeper of Dreams
Keeper of Dreams
Dimensions: 40cm Tonda
Materials: Encaustic and cold wax on cradled wood
‘Keeper of Dreams’ is an encaustic and cold wax original, created by burning layers of molten wax and resin onto a cradled wooden tonda, which is then carved with cold wax. The process combines ancient and modern techniques, forming an ethereal image that is highly tactile, like velvet.
Dragonflies symbolize renewal and change. They’re associated with good luck, spiritual awakening and connection to the higher self. We all need dragonflies in our lives!
Circles represent the interconnectedness of all things and the absence of boundaries and limitations.
