‘The Edge of the Rainbow’ is part of my Poetry Collection, inspired by poems on the subjects of nature, beauty and hope.

This piece is created by layering multiple layers of cold wax over encaustic (molten wax) and resin, and then carving into the layers to create texture and reveal the colours beneath. The technique creates a uniquely tactile surface, which has the texture of carved ceramic and the softness of velvet.
