Part of the Moonlight cold wax series.  As a full moon rose over bush behind Belongil Beach one evening, the artist photographed a family of magpies playing in an ephemeral waterhole, which developed during weeks of heavy rain. Back in her studio, she transformed her photographs into unique artworks, layering oils and cold wax medium over hot wax, which she then scraped back with metal tools to reveal the layers beneath.
